In Black Panther, Shuri is the sister of King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman). Wakanda is at war and even Shuri needs to fight to regain peace in the country. You can see her hands are covered with vibranium weapons that resemble a panthers head with his mouth open. Being the “Tony Star” from Iron man or “Q” from James Bond she designed these herself. You can see the opening in the panthers mouth canon which can deliver a powerful energy shock. How powerful the purple energy waves are, we have to see in action.
Black Panther continues after the dead of her father in Captain America: Civil War. T’Challa returns to his home country to find it struggling who the new king should be. Being one of the most secretive countries in the world is due to the technological advancements and the raw material vibranium.
The genius Shuri engineers weapons with the raw material. Her lab could even be housed in a mine full of Vibranium. As a engineers she want to be household closed to the materials she is working with to create amazing weaponry and suits.
The suits of black panther are all made by Shuri. She might produced a suit which is way better than the suit from the Civil War movie. The new suits seems to be less bulky and more flexible for close encounters. In Batman the Dark Knight we also saw Bruce Wayne asking for a less bulky suit for more agility.
The new suit now has a inner purple glow. The same as the energy shock it provides. One of the perks of the improved suit is the potential link up with Shuri who can provide back up and assistance whiles driving a car. There could be an open connection to King T’Challa to operate several functions and help him out on the field.
It seems Shuri also builds weaponry for her whole family and people from Wakanda. Even Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) has a advanced suit which resembles the golden jaguar. This suits assembles over the body and protection is there within second. But don’t think you can fool with Shuri. We are ready to see how powerful her vibranium panther head canons are.
